Beschreibung

Billund is a comfortable raglan jumper with a kangaroo pocket and large cuffs.
Based on your choices of fabric Billund can be either a colourful spot in your closet or a simple basic
piece for every day. Prints can transform Billund into a couture garment, decorated with a plot file
Billund becomes your personal statement jumper.
The jumper comes in sizes from 34 to 52, corresponding to common size charts. However, as each
body is different, please measure yourself and doublecheck the values with the size chart to make
sure you choose the right size for you. In case you are in between two sizes, decide rather on the
bigger size, as you can take the seams in later if needed. How to measure correctly is shown in the
image.

The pattern is designed for sweatshirt material, like double knits fabric, but can be sewn in commonly available jersey fabrics. If you choose to sew Billund in a different fabric, make sure it is elastic.
For thicker materials we recommend sewing in a bigger size. Billund can be sewn with or without kangaroo pocket on the front.
The instructions shall be comprehensible also for beginners. Pressing thoroughly as well as pinning your pieces in place will help you during the process.
All advanced sewers can find a short version of the instructions at the end.

Materials

You need following material for Billund woman incl. kangaroo pocket.
– Slightly elastic sweatshirt fabric 150 cm or more wide
for size 34 to 38: length 130 cm
for size 40 to 42: length 140 cm
for size 44 to 46: length 150 cm
for size 48 to 52: length 160 cm
further you will need:
– fabric scissors or a rotary cutter and a cutting matt
– sewing machine and an overlock machine, as available a sewing machine shall be sufficient
– jersey needle for the sewing machine. Jersey needles are ball point needles and glide through the
knitted structure.
– colour matching thread
– pins or clips
– fabric pen or tailors chalk for markings
– iron and ironing board

– Jersey fabrics are suitable, stripes and single coloured fabrics are great for simple shirts, dots and
stars, for all those who like it playful, whereas prints make the shirt unique and particular.
